Hits
- The usual brilliant Mysskin touches like the strange lighting patterns. Difference in whatever he does. What a passionate director.
- Terrific pace and detail in which the murder investigation unfolds on screen. Riveting stuff.
- What a brilliant music score by debut-ant K. One of the best BGMs in recent times.
- Classic role for Jayaprakash and he has done a brilliant job
- The shocking unveiling of the actual murderers. (It'll be a huge spoiler if I reveal them on the first day itself. They have literally shocked the viewers).
Misses
- A main theme is taken from the Tamil movie 'Alibaba'
- It resembles a very recent movie, 'Eesan' in the last half hour or so.
VERDICT
Mysskin's return to the gripping stuff after the classic feel good Nandalala. This is one of the best in the detective genre. He could have chosen a hero who could have spoken English better. Cheran has otherwise done a decent job.
MISS THIS AND YOU'LL REGRET THAT DECISION ...
