Harishchandrachi Factory (2009)

What’s it about
True story of Dada Saheb Phalke , the founder of Indian cinema starting from his roots as a honest person who runs a press - being a part time magician - getting inspired by the motion pictures – going to London to learn more about cameras – buying a camera – training local people to act in his movie about Harishchandra – showing the movie in cinema theaters to a great response – making more movies – and finally winning worldwide recognition as a fine Indian filmmaker. He is supported by his wife and 2 small boys throughout his endeavors.
